At JSON Formatter Online, your privacy is foundational to how we operate — not an afterthought. This policy explains what data we collect (very little), what we do with it, and what we never do.

1. JSON Data You Enter

All JSON formatting, validation, minification, CSV conversion, and diffing happens entirely in your browser using JavaScript. No JSON content you type or paste is ever sent to our servers. We have no server-side processing of your data.

2. Cookies & Local Storage

We use localStorage to remember your theme preference (dark/light) and language setting. These values stay on your device and are never transmitted.

3. Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics (GA4) to understand overall traffic patterns — which pages are visited and how users navigate the site. Google Analytics collects anonymised usage data including page paths, session duration, and general location (country/region). No JSON content you enter into the tools is ever included in analytics data. You can opt out via Google's opt-out browser add-on.

4. Third-Party Services

The site may be served through a CDN (e.g. Cloudflare) for performance and reliability. CDN providers may log standard HTTP metadata such as IP addresses and user-agent strings as part of normal infrastructure operation.

5. Advertising

We may display ads via Google AdSense to support free operation. AdSense may use cookies to serve personalised ads based on your browsing history. You can opt out of personalised ads via Google's Ads Settings.

6. Data We Never Collect
